La Patisserie European Bakery Cafe

My husband and I visited this restaurant on the advice of my daughter and it did not disappoint. We started with Roasted Beets over a bed of Arugula, red wine vinaigrette, and shaved Ricotta Salata and Caesar. They were delish and the dressing on the Caesar is one of the best we ever tasted and we have tasted a lot! The entree&#39;s were also very good. My husband ordered the SPEZZATINO, Veal and chicken saut&eacute;ed with butter, White Wine, broccoli and cheese, tossed with Penne - the serving could of had a bit more chicken and veal for the price ($23) but it was excellent. I had the old standby of chicken cutlet and eggplant parm. It was perfect! The chicken nice and crispy (not soggy) Not too much cheese so you could actually taste the dish and just the right amount of sauce, not flooded like some other restaurants. Service great - they don&#39;t rush you so you can sit back and enjoy!!!

Been here several times over the last few months. Always very impressed. Recently we had a multi course special with wine pairings and were particularly struck by the excellence and originality of the wine selections.
